That looks absolutely banging, to use a local parlance. Motive Studios, headed up by Jade Redmond (of Assassin’s Creed fame), are handling development duties on the single-player portion of Star Wars Battlefront 2. The production values look absolutely top tier and helps allay a few fears that we may end up going thrown another token campaign, a la Battlefield 1.
Much is being made of Star Wars Battlefront 2’s single-player campaign. Flipping the tables somewhat, you play as Iden Versio, leader of an Imperial forces group known as Inferno Squad. Iden will be hunting down the rebels, bridging the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. We’ve seen little snippets before, but now we’ve got entire cutscene plucked straight from Battlefront 2’s campaign. I won’t go spoiling it for you, but it’s definitely worth a watch.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out on November 17th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
